Die Cutting Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

CompanyBox is looking for a full-time Eterna machine operator to join our growing team on 2nd shift (3:00pm-11pm). Responsible for all activities associated with running the Eterna die cutter including setup, operation, cleanup and recommending improvements to operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Setup, run and troubleshoot die cutting machine.
• Read die line prints and follow work instructions.
• Ensure all quality standards are met.
• Complete production paperwork for each job.
• Meet established deadlines and objectives for shift.
• Band and remove bales from waste baler system.
• Use forklift to move and load material onto machine conveyor system.
• Complete jobs in a timely manner.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior manufacturing experience required
• Prior die cutting experience preferred
• Working knowledge of cutting and creasing of various substrates
• Forklift certification

Skills/Knowledge

• General computer knowledge: Word, Excel and Outlook
• Basic math skills
• Must be highly motivated with great work ethic, very dependable, fast moving and able to work well with others
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to operate forklift effectively

Physical/Work Requirements

• Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
• For all on-the-job injuries or accidents, must notify manager/supervisor immediately.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 15 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to regularly sit or stand for extended periods of time.
