Setup Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting die cutter operator, setting up the machine, completing preventative maintenance, and keeping area clean and organized.

• Enter specifications into machine according to job.
• Hang cutting dies & print plates.
• Assist machine operator with operations of machine.
• Ensure proper material handling and loading, practice safe working habits.
• Ensure the area surrounding machine is clean of debris.
• Pull correct tooling needed for job, place them back in their designated space when finished.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Skills/Knowledge

• Computer skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a face paced environment with minimal errors.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal errors.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Ability to regularly sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• This position requires some travel up to 0-5% of the time.
